Description
- What it is. A sterile Sol-Care® tray of 25 safety syringes, each 1 mL with an attached 27-gauge, 1/2" needle. It is the safety-engineered counterpart to a standard allergy shot syringe, with a retractable needle that locks inside the barrel after injection. Clinics that already standardize on 27G x 1/2" allergy syringes can move to this tray without changing needle size.
- Retract, lock, discard. After delivering the dose, the user manually pulls the needle back into the barrel, where it is covered and locked. The retractable syringe gives visual and audible confirmation that it is secured, and a patented locking ring prevents reuse.
